What is Restylane?
Restylane products including Restylane, Restylane-L, Perlane, and Perlane-L create natural volume to eradicate deep facial wrinkles and folds within the face. Nasolabial folds are the lines starting at the corner of the nose ending at the corners of the mouth. By plumping up the volume of the face, these folds are ironed out seamlessly.
What can Restylane Lidocaine offer?
The added affect of Lidocaine during treatment, means there is much less discomfort experienced by the patient.
Clinical trials have suggested over 70% patients felt less pain during Restylane-L treatment compared to normal Restylane. Similarly the same effects were discovered for Perlane-L. There was no more pain felt for at least one hour following the injection.
So it is no surprise why many patients choose to include Lidocaine within the chosen treatment, to ensure an overall painful experience.

What is NASHA or non animal stabilised Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance found inside the human body. It’s key properties are to keep the skin hydrated whilst adding plumpness. HA naturally breaks down in the body during metabolism and is then replaced. However as we get older and our metabolism slows down, replacement of HA is less often which results in less hydrated skin and less volume in the skin.
HA has the unique special natural power to absorb water 1000 times its own weight. its appearance. It also allows other hormones and nutrients to integrate with the gel.
